An Inexpensive Romantic Valentine's Day at Home
A Fireside Picnic -- Have the couch pulled up in front of the fireplace and have some champagne chilled. For that extra special oomph, use strawberries to bring out the champagne's flavor. Also, you can put some pomegranate seeds into the liquid to tinge the bubbly a pinkish color. If you like (or can) cook, make a Romantic Valentine's Day meal. If you can't cook, or don't have the time, order in from your favorite place; make sure to throw out the packaging and use your nice plates for the meal. Don't forget the romantic music playing in the background.
Spa Night When your love gets home, have a hot bath filled with rose petals waiting. Because roses are normally expensive around Valentines Day, ask your local florist for a package of rose petals, short stemmed roses, or for what are called seconds; seconds are roses that are slightly bruised. They can be used because you won't be giving them in a traditional way. Have a glass of wine and some chocolates on hand by the side of the bath.
While she's soaking in that romantic bath, get that bedroom ready! Cover the bed with towels warm and fresh out of the dryer. Get a large bowel of warm water near the bed, several washcloths and some spa products. Start with an exfoliating rub like the a salt scrub. Wash it off then massage in a great moisturizer. Go for the extra special touch of giving a wonderful foot rub. Afterwards, you two can relax and eat in bed while you watch a sappy, er, romantic movie.
It doesn't take alot of money to enjoy a romantic valentines day.

Can You Make a Romantic Valentines Day Proposal?
In the quest for the perfect romantic Valentines Day, many people seek to propose marriage on Valentines Day. This is a tactic to not only get her to say "YES!" but also works towards creating a precious memory that she'll treasure for the rest of her life.
What happens when her general nature, her sense of humor, makes you wonder if she'll take you serious. Imagine the blast to your ego when you ask those special words on bended knee, and she laughs in your face!
My suggestion is that it totally depends upon how you do the actual proposal. DO NOT MAKE A JOKE OUT OF IT!!! Do not play to her sense of humor and make a parody of trying to create a romantic valentines day proposal. Take time out to actually plan everything out, and when the moment arrives, wear your heart on your sleeve.
Make her FEEL what you feel, how much you love her. The only way you can do that is to share with her; tell her how much she means to you, how much you love her. Also, mention previous memories you both created and tell her how much they mean to her. If you treat the occasion with the seriousness it deserves, there's no reason you can't have a romantic Valentines Day proposal.

Plan a Romantic Valentines Day She'll Never Forget
The planning of a romantic Valentines Day takes some thought and effort, so be prepared. I'm warning you now.
Let her know that you will be taking her out on Valentines Day. Don't act like it's a big deal, but do let her know so she can plan around it. Internally, it's time for you to go for broke and make the best romantic Valentines Day you possibly can!
Call ahead to make reservations at your favorite restaurant. When I talk about your favorite restaurant, I'm not talking about Shoney's or Western Sizzler. Think about what she likes to eat (and what you're willing to stomach), check the yellow pages, and call ahead; try about 20-35 days ahead to get that reservation in!
Call the florist! Reserve a dozen roses and have them delivered later in the afternoon, close to when you normally make it in from work if she stays at home, or better yet, have them delivered to her place of work in the morning!
Do some shopping! Nothing says romantic Valentines Day than jewelry! You don't have to spend the bank account; you can get a pretty nice bracelet for under $100. Give it to her after dinner, or you can take her on a nice evening stroll after dinner, and give it her then.
Let your mind run wild and be creative. The key to having a romantic Valentines Day is to use your imagination and to be yourself. If anyone else were to plan your special Valentines Day, she could probably tell in a heartbeat because it wouldn't be you or something you would do. So take your time, plan ahead, and give her the most romantic Valentines Day she's ever had!

The Secrets to Proposing Marriage and Making it a Romantic Valentines Day to Remember
If you've met that special someone that you just know that you want to spend the rest of your life together, hear me out and don't propose just yet. Wait until Valentines Day and make it a Romantic Valentines Day they will never forget!
To make it a truely romantic Valentines Day requires planning. Everyone says love requires you to be spontaneous, but I say plan out the major events, and leave the details to the whimms of fancy.
Everyone expects to go out on Valentines Day, and we're going to use that to our advantage! Don't let on that this Valentines Day will be anything beyond the ordinary, but you know that secretly this will be a romantic Valentines Day where you pop the question.
While taking them out to dinner, make continuous eye contact while thinking about spending the rest of your life with your loved on. If you're any type of romantic, this will leave a doopy grin on your face that they'll wonder what's going on. Open and close the doors for them in all matters. Tonight is your opportunity to put them upon a pedistal.
Wait until the end of the evening and you're in private. I know that you see tv shows and movies where proposals happen in VERY public places, but I'm telling you to take it slow, easy, and make sure it's every private. If your actions have done their job, they should be in a nice and romantic mood, and that will make the proposal all the more romantic!
So, plan for the perfect Valentines Day for your marriage proposal, and you'll have the romantic Vanentines Day of your dreams!
